El primer segmento hab\u00eda concluido por diferencia m\u00ednima en favor de los santiague\u00f1os (22-21), pero esa distancia fue subiendo, a medida que avanzaba el partido. Los primeros veinte minutos lo mostraban con ventaja de diez (47-37), a los dirigidos por Luchas Moyano.
